What are types of Permit to Work?
All high risk activities should require a permit to work. Following are generic high risk activities as not all industries conduct similar activities and based on location and surroundings some activities might be high risk.
- Hot Work / Open Flame
- Work on high voltage electrical systems
- Confined space entry
- Work on operational pipelines
- Excavating near buried services
- Maintenance work on large, complex machinery
- Work at height / Scaffolding
