Please ensure that all vehicles supplied to unilever Limited, either owned or hired from market, must comply the Sindh Environmental Protection Act, 2014 with respect to air pollutants and noise levels. In this regard:
• Ensure that all vehicles entering premises must comply with Sindh Environmental Quality Standards (SEQS), particularly with respect to exhaust emissions and permissible noise levels.
• Strictly prohibit the use of any vehicle exhibiting visible black smoke or poor engine condition. Such vehicles must be immediately withdrawn and rectified before re-deployment. Any vehicle emitting visible black smoke is not allowed inside factory premises and will be grounded immediately.
• Please provide testing record of all containers/tankers, conducted during last 6 months, that are being provided to unilever Limited.
