Sectoral Guidelines for Upstream Petroleum Sector – Onshore has been prepared by Pakistan Petroleum Exploration and Production Companies Association (PPEPCA) and Halcrow and published in two volumes in September 2004.
Sectoral guidelines for upstream petroleum sector volume 1 includes the main report while volume 2 includes Annexures. The main report details on the importance of environmental issues related to oil and gas upstream exploration and production activities in Pakistan. The main report is divided in four part for easy understanding and usage.
- Part 1 – The Upstream Onshore Petroleum Industry
- Part 2 – Guidelines for Environmental Assessments
- Part 3 – Guidelines for Protected Areas
- Part 4 – Guidelines for Public Consultation
