Sectoral Guidelines for Environmental Reports has been published as a part of the package of regulation and guidelines by Pakistan Environmental Protection Agency in 1997 for different industries.
These guidelines applies to exploration and production of oil and gas. These guidelines are divided in two parts, Part A addresses exploration while Part B addresses production.
These guidelines helps in identifying potential environmental impacts and mitigation measures during surveying, seismic operations, locating well site and preparing, camp for exploration operations, road location, drilling activities, well testing and well abandonment, road and site restoration.
