Sectoral Guidelines for Environmental Reports has been published as a part of the package of regulation and guidelines by Pakistan Environmental Protection Agency in 1997 for different industries.
Sewage consists primarily of water containing wastes from residential uses, including water from toilets, cooking and washing, usually conveyed in a pipeline (sewer).
These guidelines applies to a sewage system that collects and transports sewage and treats sewage to a required level. A sewage system uses, disposes of, or discharges effluent, biosolids, methane or any other products from the sewage treatment process, returning them to the environment.
