In June 2020, NEBOSH has announced an open book examination due to restrictions under COVID-19. Now you do not need to go to a center to attempt the NEBOSH courses. NEBOSH open book is only available for general certificates, including an international general certificate commonly known as NEBOSH IGC.
NEBOSH will conduct open book assessments for other courses as well in the future, but in the first phase of the open book exam project, NEBOSH is conducting open book exam for units NG1, IG1, NGC1 and IGC1. The first open book exam will be conducted by NEBOSH in next month, i.e., July 2020.
NEBOSH Open Book Exam Key Points
You can attempt it at your home
- The total duration for the exam will be 24 hours
- There will be 11 questions (1 long and 10 short)
- The exam will be totally based on scenarios
- The closing interview will be conducted online via video link
