These guidelines are part of package of Pakistan Environmental Assessment Procedures published by Pakistan Environmental Protection Agency in 1997.
Guidelines for the Preparation and Review of Environmental Reports includes,
- Initial Environmental Examination – the purpose, steps and format of an IEE.
- Assessing Impacts – how to assess environmental impacts, impact identification, baseline data collection, prediction methods and impact significance.
- Mitigation and Impact Management – Different ways of achieving mitigation and preparation of an environmental management plan.
- Reporting – Drafting format and main features of an environmental report.
- Reviewing and Decision-making – Review process, steps in reviewing an environmental report and the decision-making process.
- Monitoring and auditing – Purpose of monitoring, effective data collection and environmental auditing.
- Project Management – Role and tasks of the environmental study manager and programming and budgeting.
