Sectoral Guidelines for Environmental Reports has been published as a part of the package of regulation and guidelines by Pakistan Environmental Protection Agency in 1997 for different industries.
These guidelines helps in identifying environmental impacts at the project level and development of new site for housing estates and new township development and also during construction and operations phases of a project.
These guidelines applies to following project but no limited to.
- Formal Housing projects in both public and private sector
- Upgrading of existing housing stock
- New Residential Estates including schemes with multiple units developed on single tracts of land.
