Sindh Occupational Safety and Health Rules, 2019

The Sindh Occupational Safety and Health Rules, 2019 were made by the Government of Sindh under the Sindh Occupational Safety and Health Act, 2017. The rules provide detailed requirements for workplace safety, occupational health, machinery, workplace registration, safety representatives and safety officers.

  • Compulsory vaccination and inoculation under Section 16
  • Registration of factories and workplaces under Section 17
  • Approval of workplace buildings, machinery layouts, fire protection plans, emergency exits and welfare facilities

The rules also contain prescribed forms and requirements relevant to workplace registration, inspections, safety representatives and occupational health.
